Our pedigrees are open, which means that our pedigrees can show both internal pedigree and external pedigree.

Internal Traditional Cobs are Traditional Cobs that are registered with us. It is because internal Traditional Cobs are already recorded on our database that they can be shown on our pedigrees.

External Traditional Cobs are Traditional Cobs that are not registered with us. However, because external Traditional Cobs are recorded on the databases of other registries they can only be shown on our pedigrees if they are added to (and, therefore, also recorded on) our database.

Adding external cobs to our database

Our account holders can add external Traditional Cobs online to our database so that they can be shown on our pedigrees. In addition, if the external Traditional Cobs have external parents and grandparents (parents and grandparents that are registered with other registries) then they can also be added online to our database so that they can also be shown on our pedigrees. Our facility that allows external Traditional Cobs and their external parents and grandparents to be added online to our database is essential for breeders who not only want their external Traditional Cob stallions and mares to be shown on our pedigrees but who also want their stallions' and mares' parents and grandparents to be shown on our pedigrees.

When adding external Traditional Cobs online to our database the following will be requested: -

• Name given by other registry *
• Registration number given by other registry *
• Breed name given by other registry *
• Name of other registry *
• Country of other registry *
• Grade/Class/Title given by other registry (optional)
• An image of the cob (optional)

NOTE: Adding external Traditional Cobs online to our database is FREE, and they can be added by anyone as long as they have an account with us.
