Because TCR is in Ireland the first TCR grading show will be held in Ireland in 2023 (date and venue to be set).
TCR grading shows held outside Ireland will be held by TCR affiliated organisations. Organisations outside Ireland can apply online for TCR affiliation.
TCR registered cobs are graded according to the following criteria: -

Conformation
Movement
Basic Class
At the time cobs (entire males, females and geldings) are registered with TCR they are automatically graded as Basic Class.
Class 1
TCR Basic Class registered cobs (entire males, females and geldings) that have reached two years of age and that have scored a sufficient number of points on the TCR grading sheet to be awarded a Grade 2 grading will be upgraded to Class 1.
Class 2
TCR Basic Class registered cobs (entire males, females and geldings) and TCR Class 2 registered cobs (entire males, females and geldings) that have reached two years of age and that have scored a sufficient number of points on the TCR grading sheet to be awarded a Grade 1 grading will be upgraded to Class 1.
Champion
TCR Class 1 registered cobs (entire males and females) that have reached three years of age are eligible to compete at TCR grading shows for the TCR grading class title Champion.
Supreme Champion
TCR Champion grading class registered cobs (entire males only) are eligible to compete at the annual TCR Championship grading show for the annual TCR grading class title Supreme Champion.
